Who we are
At Pusat Kajian Perempuan Solo (PUKAPS), we believe that every step toward equality tells a powerful story. We strive to create a world where peace, justice, wisdom, freedom, and safety are not just ideals but lived realities for all.
Based in Solo (Surakarta), Central Java, PUKAPS is a grassroots feminist-driven organization dedicated to advancing gender equality, empowering women and girls, and addressing critical issues such as gender-based violence (GBV) through education, advocacy, and creative expression.

FEMStride Project: PUKAPS has empowered hundreds of young feminists with the knowledge and tools to challenge patriarchal norms and advocate for gender equality.
Nyala Feminist Festival: The art and performances showcased at Nyala Feminist Festival have not only served as outlets for personal expression but have also educated the public on critical issues such as gender-based violence, body autonomy, and reproductive rights.
